PURPOSE
This competition is being organised only on-line through social media.
This STITCH don’t DITCH competition will allow residents and designers in Australia to display creativity to recreate an outfit using 2 or 3 preloved garments from their wardrobe or secondhand garments from friends. Can be an outfit for the races, a casual outfit, or even a beautiful new dress for a young child.
Before photos showing the pre-loved garments and a photo of the new garment modeled by you or a friend, must be included with the entry form.
There is also a soft toy category that must be made of recycled fabrics. We will donate these toys to families in need or to the Werribee Hospital.
We also have the Secondary College entries, Years 9/10 and 11/12, or students under 18 who have a recycled or an upcycled category.
Entries close on August 29th, 2022 with winners being announced on September 1st, 2022.
